Aeroponics

Aeroponics is a technique used for growing plants without soil or hydroponic media. The roots of plants are suspended in the air and are constantly sprayed with nutrient-laden water. They are then held within a closed environment with controlled temperature & moisture parameters.

These indoor plants grow in both vertical and horizontal space, which helps them utilize less floor space. Since the roots are enclosed, the nutrient-water mix is enough for the plants to grow thus paving the way to conserve the water.

With the use of aeroponics, fruits, vegetables, herbs, and rhizomes can be grown effectively. It is one of the best ways to grow plants in apartments and low land areas. The only variation comes with the types of nutrients and the time interval to spray the nutrient-rich water.
