Root rot is a condition in plants which causes roots to rot or decay. If the root of a plant decays, the plant cannot survive. The cure for root rot depends on its cause and its current stage.
Root rot can be caused by pathogenic organisms, including a few strains of bacteria, fungi, algae, and parasitic oomycotes, and may occur in both indoor and outdoor plants. Leaves which appear yellow may be indicating that root rot is about to occur. Root rot may be easily visible, but the the first sign is usually wilting or drooping. It can be avoided by keeping plants under a controlled environment and using rich organic matter when planting.
A solution for curing root rot that works for a particular cannabis plant may not work as intended for all cannabis varieties.
